The Mission of the Wisconsin Women Cycling is to develop, maintain, and support a network of women cyclists and supporters of women's cycling in Wisconsin. Wisconsin Women Cycling will work to advance the interests of women cyclists by supporting the casual rider or developing amateur and junior women cyclist through networking and outreach efforts.
Our Vision began because 26% of cyclists identifying as female is too low a number. We formed to educate, encourage and empower women/trans/femme identifying bicycle-riding persons in Ozaukee County and throughout Wisconsin. The environments we create - rides, clinics, club activities - are meant to inspire girls and women to make healthy choices, on and off their bike. The programs we support are centered on a peer-to-peer experience that inspires women to bike, participate, teach, advocate, and lead in the bike movement.
Our Passion is to inspire girls and women to ride! We promote cycling as fun, attainable, and an accessable means to commute and build community. Ride with Us!
